Two foreign jurnalists working for Finland's state television were
arrested on Saturday afternoon by police of the Ferres border guard
division for entering Greece through an unguarded passage at Aenisios
at the Evros River estuary, police announced on Sunday.
The journalists, aged 49 and 25, said during questioning that they were
trying to videotape and means of entry of illegal immigrants into
Greece in the context of a television investigation.
A 34-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested at the same point earlier,
at dawn Saturday.
All three detainees were due to appear before the Alexandroupolis
public prosecutor.
