[01] KOPLIKU FOLK GROUP LEAVES FOR FRANCEKOPLIK, JULY 6 (ATA)- By M. Malja, The folk group of Malesia e Madhe district left for France on Friday to take part in the Lion's Folk Festival.The group was awarded the first prize in the National Folk festival of Berat last year. Besides the contest in Lion's festival, which includes over contesting 30 groups from various European states, the group will also give performance in several other cities of France. a.ke/kled/lm/sh/ Albanian Telegraphic Agency[02] OSCE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY ANNUAL SESSION STARTS PROCEEDINGSTIRANA, JULY 6 (ATA)- The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly annual session, started proceedings in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 5, to continue until July 9.The Albanian parliamentary delegation, taking part in the session, is headed by deputy Genc Pollo and made up of deputies Albert Brojka, Sali Rexhepi and Vasil Melo. The Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, Brigita Grondahl, greeted the parliamentary Assembly on the first day proceedings. Later the Assembly continued in plenary session. Saturday's proceedings began with the meeting of the permanent committee and continued with the meetings of the General committees. Genc Pollo stressed NATO's key role in ensuring security in Europe and the historical need os enlargening the Alliance, underlining the excellent cooperation between NATO and Albania over the last four years. Pollo said that as regards OSCE, Albania holds that one of the main pillars on which the organisation's decision taking process, the rule of consensus, is based, this especially important for the small countries, should be preserved. Republika carries the article :"To settle accounts now means reformation"., regarding the motion of socialist leader Nano. The paper also carries the article :"The success of reforms requires political and social consensus". Poli i Qendres carries an interview with social-democrat Gjinushi entitled "The way out:'the return of the stolen commodity and the punishment of the thief'". Under the headline:"Political round table", Balli i Kombit (The National Front) carries the article:"We know how to solve problems ourselves". Lajmi i Dites carries authentic documents previously unpublished of the Foreign office on 69 Albanian politicians of the years '30-'40. "This is the real Socialist Party", says Tribuna. One of those taking part in the changing of the name of the Party of Labour testifies, the paper says.
