She is scheduled to meet also with Belgrade mayor, Zoran Djincjic. The president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik, also arrived to Belgrade for talks with Milosevic, but his direct meeting with Biljana Plavsic is uncertain.BIJELJINA - The General Staff of the RS Army (VRS) is utterly concerned over the latest events in the western part of the Republic, and believes that nobody is empowered to made moves having for a consequence the bloodshed and four wounded Serb policemen." "The blood hurts every honest Serb, for it has been shed between brothers compatriots who jointly waged the struggle against the old and proved Serb enemies", says the announcement of the VRS General Staff Information Service. The VRS General Staff reminds that "in several occasions, it made clear that the VRS would not take any of the sides, and now it reiterates its position again." "We underline that no party or individual should expect VRS support in dealing with the crisis in RS by moves which might well lead to the least shedding of Serbian blood", reads the announcement. BRCKO - As requested by Muslim returnees to Brcko, the issuance of RS identification documents which started this morning in the bordering community of Brod, was delayed for Friday, this was confirmed to SRNA by head of the Public Security Centre (CJB) in Brcko, Radomir Marjanovic. Muslim representative, Salko Hasicevic informed the officers in the stations for the ID issuance that the Muslims did not obtain all requested forms and photos, and announced that this would be completed by Friday. Following this morning's opening, the police check point in Brod, was closed at 11:00 hrs and would be reopened on Friday, at 15:00 hrs. DOBOJ - After last night's talks between the representatives of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs and officers of the multinational IPTF Division North in Doboj, all MUP-IPTF disputes were solved. The talks concerned the "overcoming of tense situation in the wider Doboj region, caused by setting-up of SFOR check points near Modrica, Derventa and Doboj, as well as incidents with the residents of the Doboj community of Plocnik." The CJB in Doboj informed residents of Doboj region that "there is no reason for unease anymore, and said that all future SFOR, IPTF and MUP activities would be carried out with a view to easing the existing tensions and the implementation of the Dayton agreement." SARAJEVO - The Provisional Electoral Commission (PEC) should announce the results of the local elections in 37 municipalities in RS and 47 municipalities in the B-H Federation, while the electoral results in the municipalities where objections and appeals are submitted concerning the electoral process, the results would be announced successively. "The Electoral Appellation Sub-Commission will review appeals and objections by independent candidates and political parties, today and tomorrow", stated the president of the Republic Electoral Commission, Petko Cancar, and added: "After the results of the local elections are summed-up, reports by international monitors issued, and decisions on eventual objections before the Electoral Appellation Sub-Commission made, the PEC will give 'technical certification of the electoral results', which would be issued in the "Official Gazettes" in RS and the B-H Federation." BEOGRAD - The members of the Serbian Intellectual Forum from Banjaluka restated their view at yesterday's debate with the researches from the Institute for Geopolitical Studies from Belgrade on "The Current Political Situation in RS" that the implementation of the parliamentarian elections is the way for overcoming the political crisis in the Republic. The Forum president, Mladen Ivanic, believes that the "holding of the parliamentarian elections in RS is a necessity", and that their too long postponement might even deepen the crisis. Ivanic assessed that "in RS there are two power centres, and that there is a tendency of development of such situation among the people", while the Forum vice-president Branko Dokic believes that "the confrontations in RS exist between the eastern and western parts of RS". Same as Ivanic, Dokic is committed for holding of parliamentarian elections as soon as next month, because they represent one of democratic principles to lead RS out from the political crisis. NOVI SAD - The Croatian Defence Council (HVO) is a militarily, administratively, financially and logistically integrated with the Croatian Army, and the Croatian Government funds it with $ 30 million a year, writes the Subotica daily "Dani", quoting partially published OSCE secret report in the New York Times. Chris Hedges, Times' correspondent from Mostar, who possesses the OSCE secret report, says that the whole operation of this illegal Croatia's financing of the HVO is being conducted thorough Croatian defence minister Gojko Susak's private company "R.U. Alan". NOVI SAD - The Hague Tribunal for War Crimes prepares the indictment against Osijek official Branimir Glavas for crimes committed against the Serbs, writes the Subotica paper "Dani", referring to a statement of an unnamed UNTAES official in New York.
