To the talks on actual political situation in RS and participation of Russia in solving the crisis attends the vice-president of Government of RS Aleksa Buha and deputy minister of foreign affairs in the Council of Ministers Dragan Bozanic, and Russian Ambassador to Sarajevo Jakov Gerasimov.DOBOJ - The president of Government of RS Gojko Klickovic called in Doboj the president of Republika Srpska Biljana Plavsic to come out on the presidential, parliamentary and municipal elections and in that way check out what rating she has in Serbian people. The RS premier deems that "president Plavsic is supported by three % of population", including the representatives of international community. He added that the "core which is gathering around president is preparing the crime, not fighting against it". DOBOJ - The president of RS Government Gojko Klickovic announced the possibility that the local elections will not be held, because the international community is ignoring all requirements of Serbs for timely communicating the voting lists. The reason for such opinion Klickovic sees also in not respecting the requirements of Serbs to be registered and to vote in Brcko and other cities of RS, in which their complaints were rejected. The premier announced the visit of the members of Government to the cities of Posavina and western part of RS. DOBOJ - In RS the violence happened over one part of state media and usurpation of its property and our task is to inform the people and start with breaking down the informational blockade of the western part of RS - said in Doboj the vice-president of RS Government Velibor Ostojic. At the session of the directors and editors in chief of the state media of RS, to which attended the minister of information Svetlana Siljegovic, is concluded that the usurper of the part of media "stroke two most powerful institutions in RS - Serbian police and media". BIJELJINA - The citizens of Lopare, Ugljevik and Bijeljina broke out, despite the hurdles set down by members of SFOR, towards the relay station of Serbian Radio-TV (SRT) on Udrigovo, protesting because of its four days blockade by foreign soldiers and having no possibility of acceptance of the programming of SRT. On the people of Semberija, Majevica and Under-Majevica, on the road towards Udrigovo the members of SFOR threw the tear gas, blocked the road, and the pressure was done also from the air. The greatest obstacle in the immediate vicinity of the transmission station, kept by well armed SFOR soldiers surrounded by the earth dikes and barbed wires, the protesters broke by their bodies. Several were injured and the medical team from Udrigovo medical centre has provided them necessary medical care. SARAJEVO - Supporting the conclusion of the National Assembly of RS about cancelling the accordance of the president of RS Biljana Plavsic given to OSCE to organise and supervise the municipal elections, the Republican Electoral Commission /REC/ assessed that in RS do not exist the conditions for their free and democratic holding. The representatives of RS in the Provisional Electoral Commission Slobodan Kovac and Radivoje Duvnjak explained that the rules for September's elections for local authorities in RS and Federation B&H were amended without presence and accordance of Serbian party. According to the assessment of REC which had a session in Pale, by these amendments was changed the nature of the elections, scheduled for September 13 and 14, and leaving the possibility for further changing of rules is violated the democratic procedure. BRCKO - The president of the Municipal Board of the Serbian Democratic Party /OO SDS/ Brcko Mladen Bosic stated that for local elections in this city was registered "phantom 40,800 voters" and that "real situation is such that Serbs will, if they come out on elections, loose the majority". "If SDS do not come out on elections, there is a danger that these "phantom" Serbian parties do that and that people, voting in ignorance for them, give the legitimacy to the fraud" - warned Bosic, stressing that the issue of coming out of SDS on next elections furthermore remains opened. SRBAC - The president of OO SDS of Srbac Milos Milincic expressed the optimism regarding the preserving the wholeness of RS and as the best solution of the current political crisis stressed the organising the elections on all three levels. "SDS expects the elections without worry, because it believes that the people will vote for most qualitative cadre, and such is just in the electoral list of SDS" - it is concluded at the session of SDS of Srbac. BELGRADE - The Serbian Radical Party /SRS/ support holding the extraordinary presidential elections in RS. "SRS requires holding of extraordinary presidential elections, because the behaviour of the current president of RS Biljana Plavsic is heavily condemned by almost all Serbs in that western Serbian land" - it is said in the announcement of SRS. ROGATICA - The Municipal Board of the Socialistic Party in Rogatica requires holding municipal, but also the presidential and parliamentary elections in RS. At the public tribune of the Rogatica's socialists, at which was talked about the politicalsecurity situation in RS , the president of Municipal Board Milorad Sokolovic expressed the opinion that the elections are the only way of getting out of current crisis. PRNJAVOR - The fighters of Prnjavor require organising the democratic presidential elections and call upon their comrades not to allow that on their sufferings is stirred up the battle for power in RS. "If the parliamentary elections were held, we unconditionally require the presidential" - is stressed in the announcement from the Assembly of the Fighter's Organisation of Prnjavor, along with the promise that the fighters will support anybody who get support of voters on that elections. BELGRADE - The presidential candidate of the Left Coalition at the elections in Serbia, the former president of FR Yugoslavia Zoran Lilic, stated that the parliamentary and presidential elections in RS are the only solution for its democratic coming out of crisis. In an interview for Radio- TV of Serbia - on his first pre-electoral appearance - Lilic said that he do not see any reason that in RS can't be held the parliamentary elections in the same time, as propose the president Biljana Plavsic, but also the presidential, as propose SDS. BRCKO - The current security situation in Brcko is stable and besides the dramatic events, which were not caused by citizens or legal police forces, but those forces who are acting against RS - stated the new head of Centre of Public Security /CJB/ Brcko the colonel Petko Budisa. Commenting for SRNA the past events in Brcko, Budisa said that the attempt of forcible occupying the CJB and Police station in this city and introducing para- police forces caused that the citizens were self organised and undertook the measurements for protection of its police. In the case of new attempt of interference of international forces in solving the crisis in RS, Budisa warned that CJB "will undertake the measurements to prevent such actions". BRUSSELS - The Belgian minister of Foreign Affairs Erik Derejk announced that the international military forces will stay probably in RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ and after the expiration of the mandate of SFOR, at the end of June 1998. In an interview for "Soir" Derejk indicated that the majority of international forces will comprise the European troops to which U.S.A have to leave the air craft and communicational networks, but also one part of ground forces. ZAGREB - The former Croatian policeman Miro Bajramovic stated that he killed 72 persons, mainly Serbs, from the beginning of the war in Croatia 1991 until 1995 - reports Reuter. "By my hand I killed 72 persons, between them 9 women. We didn't make any difference, not make any question - for us they were "chetnics" and enemies" -0said Bajramovic in an interview for the independent Croatian weekly news "Feral Tribun". Bajramovic described the details of atrocities, including the torturing and the list of execution of detainees, which he had done as the member of paramilitary police unit. He acknowledged that the he was responsible for death of 86, and that he killed 72 persons. ZAGREB - Croatia sent the sharp protest letter to the Moslem authorities in Sarajevo because killing two Croats in the village Nula near Travnik - reports AFP citing the Croatia agency HINA. The letter was given to the Moslem Ambassador in Zagreb Kasim Trnka by deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Ivo Sanader, who expressed the great disappointment, because it was another attempt in the series of attacks on Croatia refugees, who want to come back to their homes - stated HINA. MOSTAR - The president of the Federation B&H Vladimir Soljic stated for Croatian Radio Herceg-Bosna that "every call of Moslem leadership for Croats to return in their homes are associated by setting mines, alleged spontaneous rallies, blackmailing, and cruel murders". SARAJEVO - The commander of the Croatia Council of Defence Zivko Budimir stated in Tomislavgrad, the former Duvno, that "it is not time for relaxation yet, because the Croatian heads are still falling", reminding on killing two Croatian returnees two days ago in Nula near Travnik, the place under control of Moslem authorities. MOSTAR - The Croats from Travnik Luka and Pero Jezercic, who returned in their homes in the village Nula, the victims in the series of attempts of killing the mid-Bosnian Croats, planned and perpetrated from the moment when on agenda was finally put the issue of their return in destroyed and burned homes - is stressed in the comment of the Croatia Radio Herceg-Bosna. MOSTAR - The group of the expelled people from middle Bosnia prevented, by mass gathering in the region of Gorice, at the entrance in Stolac from the direction of Capljina, the passing of the buses with Moslem tourists, who every day are coming to this city - reported the Croatian radio Herceg- Bosnia. MOSTAR - In the Bugojno's village Bistrica yesterday was burned the house of Croatian expelled Branko Pesca, on which, despite the intervention of fire brigade, the significant material damage was made.
