    KONYA - Central Anatolia Flour Producers' Association Chairman Nurettin Demirpolat said on Thursday that Turkish companies would provide at first stage 50 thousand tons part of the 120 thousand tons of flour that will be sent to Iraq through the United Nations.

    [05] FOREIGN TRADE INCREASES

    ANKARA - Increasing trend in Turkey's foreign trade continued in first quarter of 2003. According to Customs Undersecretariat's provisional statistics, total exports rose 16.1 percent from 8 billion 89 million U.S. dollars to 9 billion 390 million U.S. dollars, and total imports increased 25.8 percent from 10 billion U.S. dollars to 12 billion 578 million U.S. dollars in the January-March period of the year.
