The Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID) of the University of Patras (www.ceid.upatras.gr) announces the following immediate openings for two new faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor:

* Data Structure Techniques and their Application in the Management of Information

* Technology and Architecture of Networks

The closing date for the submission of these applications is May 13, 2003.

These positions are in addition to a previous announcement made for hirings in the areas of "Software Engineering" and "Digital Signal Processing with emphasis in Multidimensional Applications" and demonstrate the department's committment to aggressive expansion.

Faculty duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, research, and supervision of graduate theses.
