Teaching Position Vacancy

The Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean invites applications for a teaching position in "Cultural Informatics" (Assistant or Associate Professor depending on qualifications).

Those interested in the above positions should send the following:

1. Application Form

2. Complete Curriculum Vitae (12 copies)

3. Certified copies of all diplomas and degrees

4. Detailed record of all scientific publications (12 copies)

5. Doctoral Dissertation (4 copies)

6. Certificate confirming Greek citizenship status - Citizens of countries which are European Union members need to provide certificate confirming citizenship of the respective country -member of the European Union.

7. Complete criminal record

8. Certificate of health

4, 5 and 6 should be presented by the candidate by the date of the selection procedure.

Candidates are obliged to have either their military service fulfilled or not be involved in any financial engagement related to their military service or to have a legal exception from it during their appointment to the post. For that reason, and before their appointment, candidates are obliged to submit an A type certificate from the responsible Military Recruitment Office.

The impediment of not having fulfilled military service does not apply to citizens of European Union member states.

The candidates should also submit a degree or a postgraduate degree from a Greek University or a Greek Lyceum Diploma (Apolyterio) or a six years High School Diploma (Apolyterio) or a D level Greek language certificate, which can be acquired from the Greek Language Center, proving their full knowledge and fluent use of the Greek language.
