Call for expression of interest in a faculty position in Software Engineering

Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, University of Patras

The Software Division of the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (CEID - http://www.ceid.upatras.gr/ ) of the University of Patras invites expressions of interest from qualified applicants for a new tenure-track faculty position in the area of Software Engineering at the level of Assistant Professor. The formal approval for this position is pending and the official call is expected to appear in press in the near future.

Duties of faculty members include teaching and supervision of theses at the undergraduate and graduate levels and scholarly research and development. We are looking for exceptional candidates who hold a doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a cognate field and who would be able to fulfill all legal prerequisites for a Greek university position. CEID was the first department to be established in Greece in the areas of computer engineering and computer science and attracts some of the country's brightest students. Candidates must be citizens of the European Union and must have excellent command of Greek that is the official language of instruction.
