PhD studentship in Computational Electromagnetics at Nottingham Trent U.Job Opportunities Directory - Previous Article - Next ArticleFrom: "HR-Net News Distribution Manager" <[email protected]>Originally From: "Mias, Christos" <[email protected]> The Nottingham Trent University Faculty of Engineering and Computing Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering PhD STUDENTSHIP IN COMPUTATIONAL ELECTROMAGNETICS AND MICROWAVE ENGINEERING A three-year PhD studentship is available for research on Photonic Band Gap (PBG) Structures for Microwave Applications. A computational electromagnetics software, based on the finite element method, will be developed to model PBG microwave devices. Novel PBG devices will be fabricated and experimentally evaluated using state of the art measurement equipment. The research is supported by a joint EPSRC/DERA grant. The applicant must be a citizen of an EU country.
