University of the Aegean Department of Cultural Technology and Communication

Forthcoming Teaching Positions

The University of the Aegean intends to launch a new Department of Cultural Technology and Communication (http://www.aegean.gr./culturaltec/) next September, in Mytilini. For this reason, the University of the Aegean invites applications from those experts who are in a position to assure the teaching of the following subjects :

Multimedia Tools and Applications

Data Base Technologies for Cultural Development

Cultural Economics

Contemporary Museology

Visual Arts

Communication Theory

Performance Theory and Cultural Practices

History of Art with emphasis on the Contemporary Western and non-Western Art

Quantative Methods on Social Sciences

Cultural Marketing and Advertising

European Cultural Institutions and Performances of Magnitude

Literature Theory and the Narrative Technics

Urban Subcultures

All candidates must have a Ph.D, speak fluently Greek and be E.U. nationals.

Those interested in the above mentioned positions, should send an application , along with a complete Curriculum Vitae ( i.e. C.V., certified copies of all diplomas and degrees, certification of all relevant professional experience, as well as, inclusion of whatever information they deem important so as to help the selection committee to form a fair opinion about the candidate�s expertise and experience).
