INVITATION TO CANDIDATES FOR THE PROGRAMME "CAREER AWARDS IN GREECE TO GREEK-SPEAKING RESEARCHERS LIVING ABROAD" of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology

The Laboratory of Biochemistry at the School of Chemistry, Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki is seeking candidates for a 3 years research position (with the possibility of extension for a fourth one) in the broad area of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Biological Processes.

Funding will be provided by the EPET II program "CAREER AWARDS IN GREECE TO GREEK-SPEAKING RESEARCHERS LIVING ABROAD" of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology. This Career Award Program aims at attracting distinguished young researchers in order to join research teams in Greek universities or research centers and carry out specific and well-defined research, technology and training activities. The candidate must be Greek-speaking, living and working abroad at the time of the call for proposals, who has completed his/her Ph.D degree and has at least a two-year post-doctoral experience abroad. Interested candidates should send a curriculum vitae accompanied by a cover letter indicating interest in the program and willingness to work in Greece for the duration of the award. The deadline for applications is the 21th of November 1997.
