POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW (30 months)
ON REVERSE LOGISTICS

The University of Piraeus, Dept. of Industrial Management, has an immediate position opening for a POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW (30 months) to participate in a TMR European network recently established and financed by the European Commission to work on Reverse Logistics. This work is concerned with analysing the key issues in Reverse Logistics in an integral approach including the areas of distribution, production planning and inventory control, information technology and business economics. It is also concerned with ordering the key issues according to their impact on various industries and society and building a framework linking these issues.Applicants should be Europeans (NOT Greeks, though) and fluent in English and are expected to reside in Greece and conduct original research, report writing etc.

Renumeration for the position is up to ECU 100,000 (30 months) including all employment costs.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Operational Research or Operations Management or a related discipline, preferably with a specialization in Environmental Management. Applicants should send a resume, publication list, other supporting material and letters from at least two referees to the following address not later than November 30.
