The Department of Environmental Engineering of the Demokritean University of Thrace, housed at Ksanthi, Greece, is about to announce the opening of two faculty positions:

1. Analysis and Management of Environmental Systems from the view of the Environmental Engineer, with emphasis on the use of O.R., systems analysis and computer simulation methods. The level of this position is expected to be either Assistant, or Associate, or Full Professor.

2. Environmental Economics, with emphasis on (a) the study of the impact of economic development on the Environment and (b) the sustainable development. The level of this position is expected to be either Assistant, or Associate Professor.

The official announcement (prokhrujh) of the two openings is expected to appear in the government's gazette (F.E.K.) in about one or two months from now.
