Postdoctoral position in Lattice Gauge Theory at the University of Cyprus.

The Department of Natural Sciences of the University of Cyprus has an opening for a post-doctoral position in Lattice Gauge Theory starting the latest by Fall 1997. The position is renewable on a yearly basis, up to a maximum of 3 years.

The lattice gauge group at the University of Cyprus consists of Assoc. Prof. H. Panagopoulos and Assoc. Prof. C. Alexandrou. The research topics of interest in the group are: analytic calculation of fermionic current renormalizations, improved operators, study of QCD phase transitions including dynamical fermions. A general interest of the Department including other theorists are statistical systems.
