Opening Reception for the Artist Maliotis Cultural Center Sunday, March 18, 2001 4:00 - 7:00 PM

Easter in the Aegean consists of four separate series: "Weekend in Mykonos," �"Post Cards," �"Petrina," and "A Touch of Roses." �Some of the works in these series appeared in an exhibition at the Consulate General of Greece in New York, May 2000. �A section of "Weekend in Mykonos" measuring 4' X 200' was on display in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City during the summer of 2000. �Apostolos Tsoris was born in Agrino, Greece and studied in Piraeus. �He was a fashion designer for 20 years and now lives and works in New York City.
