TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6

7:00 p.m.

Mr. Yannos Papantoniou, National Economy and Finance Minister of Greece, will visit Washington, October 5-7, to attend the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

On Tuesday, October 6, at 7:00 p.m., Mr. Papantoniou will speak about The Role of Europe at the Threshold of the 21st century at Georgetown University, Intercultural Center Auditorium.

Mr. Papantoniou will focus on Europe's path towards economic and monetary unification and Greece's recent economic developments. A question-and-answer period will follow.

This event is organized by the Georgetown University Hellenic Club.
