Boston, October 2: Greek American business networking receptionPublic Events Directory - Previous Article - Next ArticleFrom: "HR-Net News Distribution Manager" <[email protected]>Originally From: [email protected] Continuing in AXION's tradition of successful events, we invite you to join us for our inaugural business networking reception on Thursday, October 2, 1997 at 6:30 PM at the Le Meridien Hotel in Boston. AXION is a Boston based non profit organization which sponsors and supports the social, charitable, political, cultural and business needs of the Greek American community in the New England area. Since the group was founded in 1986 more than $100,000 has been raised and donated to charities such as the Hellenic Cardiac Fund for Children, the Cooley's Anemia Foundation, the Hellenic Nursing Home and Philoxenia House. The purpose of this event is to introduce Greek Americans in Networking - GAIN; an innovative approach and a commitment by AXION to sponsor and support the opportunities of business networking in the Greek American community. Our goal is to facilitate and promote access or information to valuable contacts, to interact among each other, to promote the entrepreneurial spirit, to share our collective experiences and our individual success stories, and to unite toward common goals. Greek Americans are synonymous with individual excellence and achievements. Yet, we believe that our business and social potential is maximized when we come together as a distinct and powerful community of a common background. We have enlisted the participation of other fellow Greek organizations and now we are asking for your support. For GAIN to succeed we need your active participation. We would like you to attend, get acquainted with your fellow Greek Americans, and find out how you and your business interests can benefit from this business networking event. Le Meridien Hotel is conveniently located in the financial district of Boston. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be available. Donations for this event are $25 payable in advance. To RSVP for tickets or to obtain additional information please give me a call at (617) 484-1850 or Georgia Liapis at (617) 523-8887. Let our GAIN be your gain. Sincerely, John Dimitrakakis Chairman Public Events Directory - Previous Article - Next Article |
