The Research and Training Institute of East Aegean (INEAG, Samos island, Greece) and the University College of the Fraser Valley (UCFV, British Columbia, Canada), with the participation of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, will host the 3rd International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education on Samos island, Greece, July 17 - 19, 2002.

The aims of the conference are to provide education and training to practitioners in social, industrial and economic areas; to provide practitioners in these areas with ideas on integrating technology into all facts of education; and to provide a forum to stimulate intensive interaction. The conference will offer keynote and plenary sessions with internationally recognized educators and researchers in the theoretical and practical applications of technology in education.

Following upon the Samos 2000 and Samos 2001 conferences, our aim with this conference is to create a more integrated event that will offer collaborative opportunities among all levels of education. For that reason the conference seeks the involvement of the primary and secondary education communities as well as that of post-secondary education communities.

More information on the topics, call for papers, deadlines, etc. may be found at the conference Web site, http://www.ineag.gr/Events/ICTEconference_SamJuly2002/indexEn.htm , or from Mrs.Nancy Pyrini, Conference Administrative Director, [email protected] .

The registration deadline is April 26, 2002.
