MEXAS" <[email protected]> 1st Pan-British Conference of E.E.F.ME.B. (Union of all Hellenic Students in the U.K.)The Hellenic Society of De Montfort University, Leicester, has taken the initiative to organise the 1st Pan-British conference of all the Hellenic (Greek and Cypriot) students in UK Universities. The conference, which is kindly sponsored by air manos will take place in the Student Union at Scraptoft Campus of De Montfort University in Leicester during the weekend of 10th- 11th May 1997. Twenty-five Hellenic Societies from Universities across Britain will attend the conference. They will sign the pre-decided articles forming the E.E.F.ME.B., and vote for its first committee. A debate discussion on the mapping of the Greek foreign policy will take place during the second day of the conference. Academics from the Universities of Oxford, Bradford, De Montfort, Leeds, and London School of Economics as well as other organisations familiar with the Hellenic reality have been invited to express their views. The articles of the E.E.F.ME.B., and the timetable of the conference have already been agreed by all the participating Universities, and are available in our web site: (http://www.webleicester.co.uk/customer/mexas).
