GREEK CINEMA, TELEVISION, AND VIDEO

The next MGSA/MLA panel is scheduled to take place at the MLA Convention in Toronto, Canada, on December 28, 1997. This panel will be dedicated to Greek cinema, television, and video. The proposed papers should explore any aspect of film-making. They may have a single focus or a comparative focus across disciplines, time periods, genders, cultures, or nationalities. They may investigate aesthetic issues, economic issues, educational issues, feminist issues, or any other issue which influences film, television, and video production in Greece and abroad.

The deadline for submissions of abstracts for those who wish their names and the titles of their papers to appear in the 1997 PMLA program for the 113th Convention is March 1, 1997. All participants must be MLA members by April 1, 1997. Participants who plan to use audiovisual equipment should check with the chair of the session or with the MLA convention office to be sure that the necessary equipment has been ordered by April 7, 1997. All requests for audiovisual equipment must be made by the chair of the session by April 7, 1997.
