Greece's Public Power Corporation (PPC) assured Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis that there was no risk of power cuts. Hatzidakis, on his part, made it plain that power rates will not be revised.

    Kostis Hatzidakis- Andrei Vdovin Meeting

Greece's Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis and Russia's ambassador to Greece Andrei Vdovin met Friday and discussed the gas crisis triggered due to the strained relations between Russia and Ukraine. Hatzidakis said there is a slight progress on the matter.

"Greece's keynote priority is energy sufficiency. We face no problems. We are closely cooperating with the Greek Public Gas Corporation, and as you may realize, gas sufficiency has been my key priority," said Development Minister Kostis Hatzidakis after his meeting with the Russian ambassador.
