Zagoritis' ReplyLampropoulos' Statements Cause Discontent03 2008 14:00:00 Sources: NET The ND (Conservatives) headquarters are dissatisfied with ND MP Giannis Lampropoulos statements, which read that instead of hosting a dinner to MPs the PM should have distributed the money to the families of the victims in Perama. Mr Lampropoulos had told Eleftheria newspaper that event was a social one, lacking political content. The reply to the Messinia MP came from the ND Secretary Lefteris Zagoritis, who stressed that the partys event should not be confused with the incident in Perama. Furthermore, he added that the State has exhibited its interest to the families of the victims, by taking measures. Referring to the above development, government spokesman Evangelos Antonaros told Adesmeftos Typos tis Kyriakis that the different views by some members of the Parliamentary Group should not be boosted. "What matters is the result," he concluded. Finally, as certain MPs express their views on how the government should rule Greece, top ministers refer to the ongoing reforms, which as they argue are changing Greeces profile.
