The US and the EU condemned the bombing and said Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat must act now to arrest those responsible and take immediate action to prevent future attacks. Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat also condemned the bloody attack and called on the Israeli government to immediately make a joint declaration for a cease fire and to start implementing the US authored truce -to-peacemaking plan intended to end the bloodshed. Russia called both sides to stick to the peace procedures and the Mitchell' s proposals. [04] Proposals for the Pasok party new chartThe Pasok Party, General Secretary Kostas Skandalidis said that proposals for the party' s chart provide for the upgrading of the Executive Office with an increase of its members to 17 and reduction in the sectors of the Central Committee.
