[01] We have an agreement that has balance, gov't spokesman Tzanakopoulos
says
We have an agreement that has a balance, for the first time after 7
years a review concludes without additional fiscal burdens and its is
the first time that we have offset measures, stated government spokesman
Dimitris Tzanakopoulos in an interview to Vouli TV channel.
He explained the necessity of the agreement because Greece does not
have access to the markets adding that at this phase we should have the
completion of the review in order the economy to proceed with stability
and confidence to be restored.
"This agreement is the key for the programme to be completed successfully
in order to be able, in August 2018, to get into the markets and to be
able to refinance the debt by ourselves" said Tzanakopoulos.
[02] Alt. Defence Min. Vitsas: Ticket- agreement for debt settlement
"Let's see this agreement as the ticket for the final debt settlement
and the country's return to normality" stated Alternate Defence Minister
Dimitris Vitsas speaking to ANT1 TV on Wednesday.
"The debt settlement will be the basis to get out of the memoranda" he
noted adding that the huge wager is the productive restructuring of the
country and of the economy. According to the agreement and if the 3.5%
primary surplus target is met then measures and offset measures will be
activated with a zero fiscal result.
