  • [01] ND: Eurogroup proves government deceived people; there's no deal with creditors

Monday's Eurogroup proved that there is no agreement with the country's lenders, despite the government's "propaganda" which recently heralded the end of austerity, New Democracy said in a press release, commenting on the results of the meeting of Eurozone finance ministers in Brussels.

"On February 20, the government and its propaganda machine rushed to announce a deal which supposedly brought 'an end to austerity'. Today, it was proven that it was another attempt to deceive the people, as there has been nor is any deal and we don't know if and on what conditions there will ever be one," the party said.

"All this is happening at a time when the economy is destabilized and the country is again in uncertainty," it added.

[02] Eight more suspicious parcels destined for Europe found at post office

Eight more suspicious parcels, believed to contain explosives like the two packages sent to the German finance ministry and the Paris offices of the International Monetary Fund last week were found and seized at the Greek post office's assorting center in Kryoneri, police said.

The packages indicate as recipients officials in various European countries. Anti-terror police is investigating the case.
