[01] FM Kotzias to meet his counterparts Kasoulides, Mitov in Beirut
Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will visit Beirut on Tuesday to attend
a meeting with his Cyprus and Bulgarian counterparts Ioannis Kasoulides
and Daniel Mitov.
Kotzias has repeatedly stressed the role of Beirut in the stability in
Middle East and reiterated the need to support it financially as it is
the country that hosts the majority of refugees on a percentage basis.
Based on the agenda, the discussions will focus on security, energy,
education and culture. Special emphasis will be given on an open
discussion to be held at the University USEK of Lebanon, on "The central
role of History and Identity in the formulation of foreign policy."
