The current review of Greece's programme dominated Monday's informal meeting between Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, close aides and members of the cabinet, government sources said.

The sources noted that the omnibus bill of outstanding prior actions required for a final sub-tranche of loans under the first review will be passed in Parliament on Tuesday, while one more draft bill relating to the civil aviation authority is still pending.

All issues not included in these two draft bills have been given an extension to be completed, so they do not affect the completion of the first review and the disbursement of the last sub-tranche of 2.8 billion euros, the sources added.

Other issues examined were relations with the Church of Greece, with the government deciding that it would be fruitless to needlessly extend a discussion on issues that were not of immediate concern, and the ongoing process for awarding four nationwide television content licences. The government sources noted the prime minister's recent statement at a SYRIZA party Central Committee meeting that anyone failing to produce the required sums will be knocked out of the process. They said that the process will continue as normal, with the next runner-up in the auction, who would have to submit a wealth statement for inspection within five days and then pay one third of the total price bid within 15 days.

The sources noted that withdrawal of Ioannis Kalogritsas from the process is expected to raise the total amount raised, since the runner-up Ivan Savvidis had submitted a higher final bid for a licence.
