BRUSSELS (ANA-MPA/C. Vasilaki) - European Council President Donald Tusk announced on Friday that there's a unanimous agreement between all European Union member-states and Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on the joint statement which was prepared for the EU-Turkey summit in Brussels.

"Now unanimous agreement between all EU HoSG and Turkey's PM on EU-Turkey Statement," Tusk tweeted on his official account.

IDOMENI (ANA-MPA/S. Papadopoulou) – Greece's government body that manages the refugee crisis has been mobilized after it emerged that the family of a 7-year-old Syrian boy who is hospitalized in Germany and urgently needs a bone marrow transplant may be among the thousands of refugees and migrants stuck in the country's temporary accommodation shelters.

The story of Rami, which was first reported in "The Independent" on March 15, quickly gained momentum internationally and even reached Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras who is currently in Brussels for the EU-Turkey summit on migration.

According to the British paper, Rami was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma five years ago – just after the start of the war in Syria began. While he was in hospital, his family was displaced from their home in Tadamoun by violence. His father eventually made the decision to try and get the two of them to Germany via the smuggling routes, which they eventually did, and Rami was able to continue his therapy in a hospital, the paper reports.

In Germany, the doctors told his father that the boy's siblings are potentially the best donors, however they are unable to reach the country because the borders have closed and processing the family could take months.
