[03] Gov't spokeswoman Gerovassili: 2016 will be a year of major reformsANA/MPA---2016 will be a year of huge reforms as well as of the agreement for the debt relief, stated government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili in an interview with the Sunday edition of Avghi newspaper.The reforms, explains Gerovassili, will refer to the public administration, the state contracts and the public procurements, the media and the growth framework, the cooperatives and the fight against smuggling. On the reactions regarding the social security reforms and the farmers' mobilisations, she said that "the government not only listens to the voices that take the streets but also integrates their requests wherever it is possible". She also sternly stated that "any discussion on a left parenthesis has ended" adding that "if some, inside and outside Greece, continue to harbour illusions it would be good to come down to reality". Finally, on the possibility of cooperation with the other left parties of the country, she noted the need that progressive political forces to find a common ground as it happened in Portugal and Spain.
