According to a prime minister's office announcement, the two leaders said that the results of EU-Turkey summit on Sunday were positive and agreed to remain in close contact.

Moreover, in the margins of the COP21 meeting, Tsipras had a series of brief meetings with other leaders, among them with the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Albanian President Bujar Nishani, the President of Bolivia Evo Morales, the Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann and his counterrparts of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic and Georgia Irakli Garibashvili.

He warned against "returning to the solutions given until now," and outlined a road map for resolving the issue by March 2016.
