  • [01] Thessaloniki Port submits application for waterway licence

Thessaloniki Port Authority (OLTH) on Monday submitted an application in order to receive licence for creation and operation of the metropolitan waterway.

The waterway will offer four docking positions at least and will offer the mandatory operative support to planes and to companies that are planning to activate in the sector. Therefore, Thessaloniki's link with the rest of Greece and particularly with the islands will be upgraded.

"The company has submitted the file on time in order Thessaloniki to become a hydroplanes destination in the next tourist season (2016). Contractor and responsible for the monitoring of the licencing procedure is Hellenic Seaplanes," said Thessaloniki Port Authority.
