[01] Draft budget forecasts general govt debt rising to 187.8% of GDP
in 2016
Greece's general government debt will rise to 187.8 pct of GDP in 2016,
up from 180.2 pct of GDP in 2015, according to forecasts in the draft
budget tabled in Parliament on Friday.
The general government debt in absolute terms is forecast to reach 327.6
billion euros in 2016 from 316.5 billion euros in 2015, at a time when
Greece's GDP is expected to reach 174.438 billion euros in 2016 from
175.658 billion euros in 2015.
