[01] Independent Greeks leader: Nobody can take us off the EU
ANA/MPA---Independent Greeks (ANEL) leader Panos Kammenos on Saturday
evening addressed a political event at the port city of Patras. Kammenos
said that the upcoming elections are the elections for the liberation
of our country because we fight for the restoration of the principles
that we have lost by the operation of the co-governance and the foreign
lenders' sovereignty".
Kammenos referred to the European Union noting that "we support the
Europe of the nations, of the people's equality and of the democracy
and not the Europe of the German sovereignty and of the banking union".
Regarding the eurozone he said that "nobody can take us off EU for which
we had paid to get in".
On a possible cooperation with SYRIZA he said "we say yes to a government
of national unity and to go all together to our lenders but we have our
red lines on the national issues".
