[01] Tsipras: SYRIZA will not accept prior actions or other demandsANA-MPA -- Main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday speaking at his parliamentary group asked for the intensification of the party's efforts in order to be ready for the elections as the government's span will not go beyond presidential elections scheduled to take place early next year.Regarding the current government's negotiation with the troika, Tsipras underlined that a SYRIZA government will not accept either prior actions or anything else that is attempted to be imposed as fait accompli. He also said that "the state continuity does not mean continuation of the memorandum" and reiterated his position for writing-off the main part of the debt. Tsipras underlined the position that SYRIZA "with its steady course, its osmosis with the popular movement, its analyses and ideas has become the only guarantee of democratic normalcy and change." Tsipras reassured that his party is the political power that can guarantee that Greece will stand on its feet and negotiate with determination. Main opposition leader also stressed the need for SYRIZA's electoral preparedness, but also the need for the main opposition to work in order to speed up developments, come in closer contact with the people, explain its programme and give the final, decisive blow to fear and uncertainty. He also condemned Turkey's actions and called on the government to exhaust all diplomatic activity, so that Turkey will proceed with essential moves to de-escalate the tension and help resume negotiations. On the Supreme Council of Cooperation between Greece and Turkey, Tsipras said it is a key tool for the development of bilateral relations, but noted the need for this institution to contribute to the easing of tension. Moreover, he expressed concern about the situation in the Balkans and the rise of nationalism and proposed the strengthening the SEECP.
