[01] Rescue operation to locate missing undocumented migrant
ANA/MPA---A rescue operation is underway southeast of Rhodes island
to locate a missing undocumented migrant who was on board a 30m vessel
with 64 other migrants of different nationalities. According to initial
information, the missing man fell into the waters under unidentified
conditions.
All the other migrants are safe.
At a separate incident, 34 undocumented migrants that were on a dinghy
were rescued by a Coast Guard patrol vessel 1.5 nautical miles off
Samothrace island.
The undocumented migrants were transferred to Kamariotissa port,
Samothrace.
