[01] PM Samaras to meet with Venizelos, Avramopoulos ahead of NATO meetingANA/MPA---Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Tuesday will meet with Government Vice-President Evangelos Venizelos and Defence Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos ahead of the upcoming NATO meeting in Wales.The meeting will take place at 18.00 at Maximos Mansion. [02] Forty two undocumented migrants rescuedForty two undocumented migrants were rescued in two incidents in the sea areas of Agathonissi and Kos island on Tuesday.In the first incident 21 undocumented migrants tore the inflatable dinghy they were on board when the found out that they had been detected by the Coast Guard. They were all rescued by a Coast Guard vessel in the sea area north of Agathonissi, northeastern Aegean Sea. Twenty one undocumented migrants were also located on an adrift vessel. The migrants abandoned the boat and fell into the sea waters five nautical miles off Kos island. All migrants were collected by a Coast Guard vessel and are safe. There are no missing persons in both incidents. Shipping and Aegean Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis will give a press conference on Thursday 4 September on the increased inflow of migrants from the sea borders. [03] Culture Minister: Evidence suggest that Amphipolis grave has not been lootedANA/MPA---Evidence at Ancient Amphipolis suggest that the tomb may have not been looted, Culture Minister Constantinos Tasoulas said on Tuesday to private TV MEGA."The landfill in the interior of the antechamber was made to protect the grave," Tasoulas said adding that "the final answer will be given by the archaeological research....we must see the grave before we say for sure". Tasoulas noted that the finds in Amphipolis are good news that "Greek people deserve" adding that the ancient Greek culture and history is a source of pride for the Greeks.
