  • [01] SYRIZA leads race for Eurolections, says opinion poll

    ANA-MPA/ Main opposition SYRIZA leads 1.4 percent over New Democracy (ND) in euroelections, according to an opinion poll conducted by Alco for private TV Action24.

    According to the poll results, SYRIZA leads with 21.4 percent, followed by ND with 20 percent, ultra-right Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avghi) with 7.4 percent, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) with 5.4 percent, Independent Greeks with 4.9 percent, PASOK with 4 percent, and Democratic Left (DIMAR) with 3 percent. 6.6 percent of the respondents expressed preference to other parties and 9.1 percent said that it would not vote. The unidentified vote reached 13.7 percent.

    The geographic coverage of the opinion poll was nationwide and was conducted between 5 and 11 February.
