[01] Greece raises 1.3 billion euros from T-bill auction
ANA-MPA/ Greece on Tuesday successfully auctioned a three-month
Treasury bills issue raising 1.3 billion euros from the market at a
lower interest cost.
The country's Pubic Debt Management Organization said that the interest
rate of the issue was set at 3.60 pct, from 3.75 pct in the previous
auction of same maturity in January 14. Bids submitted totaled 2.383
billion euros, 2.38 times more than the asked sum. The organization
accepted also non-competitive bids worth 300 million eurs and said it
will also accept additional non-competitive bids up to 30 pct of the
asked sum by Thursday, 13 February.
