[01] Greek merchant shipping fleet down 2.9 pct in July
ANA-MPA/ The Greek merchant shipping fleet fell 2.9 pct to 1,911 vessels
in July this year, compared with the same period in 2012, after a 3.3
pct decline recorded in July 2012, the Hellenic Statistical Authority
(ELSTAT) said on Wednesday.
The statistics service, in a report, said that total capacity of the
Greek fleet was 44,327,563 gross tonnage in July 2013, up 0.5 pct from
July 2012.
