    AMNA – mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"; A new staring point in Greece-Qatar relations was the focal point in remarks made after a meeting on Tuesday evening here by Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif";mso-bidi-font-family:Verdana;mso-ansi-language: Qatari premier Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabr Al Thani. During their meeting it emerged that both countries are interested in striking investment cooperation in sectors of mutual interest, such as tourism, energy and constructions.

    Samaras said Greece offers good opportunities for investments, while his Qatari counterpart said that his country, too, considers the prospect of going ahead with investments, e.g. in small- and medium-size enterprises.amna

    Ministers and major companies from both countries are expected to hold contacts in coming months to discuss further moves.
