    AMNA--The Ministry of Tourism wants to see a reduction in the Value Added Tax applied in restaurants and food services to help boost Greece's tourism competitiveness, Tourism Minster Olga Kefalogianni said . amna

    Speaking on Greek state NET television channel, Kefalogianni said that a reduction in VAT will directly contribute to cheaper tourist packages to Greece.

    [02] Acropolis Museum celebrates Christmas

    The Acropolis Museum hosts a series of family events to celebrate the Christmas holidays. The programme opened on Saturday 22 December to welcome adults and young visitors in interactive activities and archaeological games, concerts and 3D screenings, children's workshops and other events including Christmas sweets. Children also have the opportunity to decorate an olive oil branch, in an ancient custom, and sing 3,000-year-old carols. The events will run through December 30.
