AMNA--President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias on Sunday called the
citizens for "mass participation, a clear mind and clear selections"
in the general elections, after voting at a precinct in Ioannina,
northwestern Greece.
"Elections are the ultimate moment of democracy. The citizen, with his
vote, chooses for his future, the future of his children and his country,"
said Papoulias, and underlined: "We must have mass participation, clear
