[01] KKE party leader arrives in Ankara
ANKARA (AMNA - A. Ambatzis) - Communist Party of Greece (KKE) Secretary
General Aleka Papariga arrived here at noon on Sunday, accompanied
by Costas Papadakis, a member of the party's International Relations
Department, to attend an event of the Communist Party of Turkey titled
"Socialism shall win."
The event will be held at 4 in the afternoon in Ankara's indoor stadium,
on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the assassination of the
historic leader of the Turkish Communist Party Mustafa Suphi and 14
members of the party's Central Committee on January 29, 1921. amna
Papariga will address the event, which rerpresentatives of the communist
parties of Syria and Portugal will also be attending. Papariga will be
visiting the Greek embassy before the event.
