[01] FinMin Venizelos discusses all issues with troika
AMNA--Government Vice President and Finance Minister Evangelos Venizelos
held two-hour talks with the heads of the troika (EU, IMF and ECB) on
Wednesday, focusing on a review of all the issues (fiscal, labour, social
security and structural) that are included in the new programme and
function as a precondition for the conclusion of the new loan contract.
This was said by ministry officials after the meeting, stressing in
parallel that the timetable of contacts was also finalised, that will
be held in the coming days with an intensive rate, for both the PSI and
the completion of negotiating for the new programme. amna
According to the timetable, the discussions for the PSI will be continued
in Athens at technical level on Thursday, while more special metings will
be held until Saturday morning for the fiscal, labour, social security
and structural issues, between the troika, the government and the parties
participating in the government.
