    The Monday edition of Athens' dailies at a glance

    The crisis in the eurozone, the reserve labour measure and the cuts in pensions starting from Jan. 1, mostly dominated the headlines on Monday in Athens' newspapers.

    ADESMEFTOS TYPOS: "Confusion with the reserve labour".

    [02] Greek, Turkish PMs' first phone contact

    AMNA / Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan telephoned Greece's new transitional premier Lucas Papademos to congratulate him on the assumption of his new duties, in the first contact between the two leaders.

    An announcement said that the two prime ministers, during the telephone call on Thursday afternoon, discussed matters of bilateral interest in the context of the policy being followed in recent years.amna

    The two prime ministers agreed to continue the cooperation between the two countries and a further enhancement of bilateral relations.

    They also discussed international developments, particularly in the southeast Mediterranean.
