[01] Major heroin haul in IgoumenitsaOfficials in the northwest port of Igoumenitsa on Sunday confiscated roughly 120 kilos of heroin in an Italy-bound truck with Croatian plates. The drugs were found in packets weighing 450-500 grams.The lorry's Serbian driver was arrested and will be led before a local prosecutor. According to information obtained so far, the narcotics were destined for markets in western Europe. Interpol and authorities in Italy were informed of the bust.
