[01] F-16s collide; 2 pilots rescued
(ANA-MPA) -- �wo Hellenic Air Force F-16s reportedly collided south of
Crete on Thursday, with two out of three pilots subsequently recovered
alive in the immediate aftermath, reports stated at roughly 15.00 local
time (13.00 GMT).
A search is ongoing for the third pilot. One of the US-made planes was
a two-seater F-16. Both pilots were transferred to a local hospital in
Ierapetra.
