[01] Paggaio mayor declared missingThe mayor of a northeast Greece municipality was declared missing on Tuesday by Kavala police. Paggaio municipality mayor Triantafyllos Koukoudis left his residence outside Kavala on Sunday with his car, saying he had business and did not return. Police launched a search in the area of Eleftheron municipality, where according to reports, Koukoudis was heading.On Tuesday, officers searched the mayor residence and on Wednesday authorities extended their search to a sea region east of Kavala. [02] ASE opening: DeclineEquity prices were declining at the opening of trade on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.17 percent, standing at 2,192.72 points at 11:00 a.m., and turnover at 6.659 million euros.Individual sector indices were moving mostly downward, with the biggest gains in Health, up 1.51 percent; Oil and Gas, up 0.30 percent. The biggest losses were in Telecoms, down 0.48 percent; and Constructions, down 0.30 percent. The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.25 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.49 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was up 0.82 percent. Of the stocks moved, 21 were up, 18 were down, and 19 were unchanged.
