[01] PM Karamanlis to meet with Europarliament president
Prime minister Costas Karamanlis will meet on Wednesday with visiting
European Parliament president Hans Gert Poettering.
Karamanlis chaired a meeting of the Inner Cabinet on Wednesday
morning.
Later, the full Cabinet met under the premier to discuss justice
ministry matters, and more specifically the promotion of judicial
functionaries to fill the vacancies arising due to the retirement of
senior ranking judges in the country's three highest courts.
