    Archaeological excavations conducted by the Thessaloniki Aristotle University's Archaeology Department are in progress in Kastri, Grevena prefecture, in northwestern Greece.

    The excavations are taking place in the vicinity of a citadel where part of an ancient temple dedicated to Zeus was discovered a few years ago, referred to as one of the most unique archaeological findings in the region of Macedonia, northern Greece.
